BUFF & COAT

STEP 2 - COATING

For the next step, we remove the few remnants of dust and debris with a vacuum. With a clean surface, it's time to apply the new layer of finish, giving your hardwood floor that fresh shining look, adding a long-lasting life expectancy without the need of a full refinish process.

The right maintenance interval depends on traffic, the finish, and how the floor is cared for. If the finish looks dull or has light surface scratches, ask us whether a buff and coat is suitable before wear reaches the wood.

Carolina Pro Flooring is rooted in two decades of a family-shared passion for excellence and beauty in wood flooring services. At the heart of Carolina Pro Flooring is Rafael Ferreira, who discovered his own vision for providing quality custom wood flooring designs while apprenticing under his father and uncles.

The collective wisdom and experience of his family, along with valuable opportunities to work with other established flooring companies, has given Rafael insight and knowledge into the best practices for the craft. This includes experience in a range of wood flooring services, such as material selection, treatment, design, and installation. These experiences, combined with a desire to provide the highest quality buffing and coating services, led to the creation of Carolina Pro Flooring, or CPF.
